2008 Events

Talk about a party. Wow! Alden and Tommy had a wonderful ceremony at the Lutheran church in Midtown, then took the trolley to the Biltmore for the reception festivities. The band was amazing and everybody had a great time.

It was such a nice day to photograph Tori & Ray. The light was perfect and the Atlanta Skyline looked great. There were a few gusts of wind we had to watch out for, but I think it actually added to the artistic and carefree look of some of the pictures. It's pretty easy to spot the windy ones.

We started off at the bridge at Roswell Mill. Then we went to Jones Bridge Park. Elizabeth and Paul seemed to really enjoy each other's company. You can truly see the chemistry between them. Can't wait to photograph their upcoming wedding.

Erica and Danny got married at the Turner Field 755 Club. After the ceremony they changed out of their formal shoes and put on some new Nike shoes just for the reception. For sneakers, they were very dressy and fit the part perfectly. Did I mention that they both met and work at Niketown? If I didn't, you can definitely tell by the time you see the groom's cake. Very cool indeed.

Karen was a bridesmaid and a sister to Amy Anderson from an earlier wedding. I was more than happy to photograph Karen's wedding. I was so happy to see everyone again. Everybody was there, even Super Duck. You can see him pop up every now and then in the pictures.

Erica and Danny dressed up a couple of days after their wedding to roam about the town before they left back to Louisiana. We mostly stuck to the Piedmont Park and Ponce de Leon area. Danny took some flowers to the face. Erica posed on a scooter. And they both did a whole lot of running, even uphill. Click on the Highlights to see for yourself.

Buckhead, an area in Atlanta in which Danny and Erica both share fond memories together, no longer exists. So we found a few cool spots where the sun hit just right for their photographs. They are such great sports.

Miriam and Brian had their engagement session at Atlanta's Little Five Points area. It's a really cool place to have the photo shoot. They were very fun to work with and loved the idea about using solid colors as their backdrop. Check out the Highlights to see what I mean.

The power was out. This was how the wedding day started.Well, actually it started with my driving through torrential rain, hail and tornadoes to get there. But nothing stops me from getting to a wedding. Of course, once I got there, the skies parted and I was able to photograph the groom and his family while Jessica photographed the bride upstairs.

Ashley and David got married in downtown Atlanta. That was when the tornado hit downtown Atlanta and it did hit the hotel. Shortly before they got married, they evacuated the hotel. The air conditioners were down making it a bit toasty for everyone. Luckily, the wedding went smoothly as if nothing happened.

This session took place at Stone Mountain Park. Lot's of fun.

Karen and Brian were photographed at Atlanta's Piedmont Park. We met up early on Saturday morning and it was cold and windy. Let me stress again, it was very windy and cold. Yet in spite of all this, they were great sports. Notice the Valentine prop.

Today was such a great day for an engagement session, the sun was shining and everybody was out enjoying it. Amanda and Jason were very playful and had no problem frolicking about near the Smyrna Community Center. There's a cameo from someone special in Amanda's life in one of the Highlight pictures.
